2nd "Let's Eat" Exhibition held at Uehara store from Saturday, November 2nd to Friday, November 8th!

The second "Gohan wo Tabeyou." exhibition will be held at FOOD FOR THOUGHT Uehara from Saturday, November 2nd to Friday, November 8th!

The "Gohan wo Tabeyou." exhibition is a special exhibition dedicated to "rice bowls" with the wish that people will "enjoy delicious rice" during autumn when new rice is at its best. It features a collaboration of rice bowls by 14 prominent artists. Please come and find your own "ultimate rice bowl."

Japan is a unique country where personal tableware, "jinzoku-ki" (personal items), are present on the dining table. Rice bowls are one such item. It's wonderful to have "my own vessel" that accompanies daily meals, isn't it? As purveyors of tableware, we constantly believe that we must firmly preserve this culture.

Especially now, when online shopping services are part of our daily lives, we want our customers to "pick up and choose" their rice bowls, which support their daily diet, at our store.

Each "rice bowl" has its own unique character, with differences in the curve of the body, the foot, and the diameter of the bowl, resulting in a different fit in the palm of your hand. The comfort in your hand is an important point that we want you to fully experience and confirm in the store. Also, imagine how it would pair with your existing tableware and enjoy selecting a piece while chatting with our staff.

This is a magnificent exhibition where you can see and compare works by leading contemporary Japanese ceramic artists all at once! Last year, our long-held dream came true with the first exhibition, which received an overwhelmingly positive response beyond our expectations. We are very happy to be able to hold the second exhibition this time!

This time, 14 popular artists will be showcasing their works at this exhibition. You can carefully pick up and compare the "now" of the rice bowl, a standard item on the dining table, from pottery, porcelain, and painted pieces, to simple and strongly designed ones.

In this season of delicious new rice, nothing would make us happier than to help you discover your own "ultimate rice bowl"! We sincerely look forward to your visit. (Haruna)
