FFT's featured artist, potter Shintaro Enami. He is a notable artist who, after five years of diverse experience as the top apprentice to Tetsuya and Momoko Otani, became independent from "Otani Seito-sho."

Enami's works feature distinctive waves (streamlines). All are handcrafted, and their elegant and intricate expressions are truly breathtaking. His pottery wheel techniques are simply superb.

Enami says that rimmed plates are the most frequently used and indispensable items in his own home. The S size is versatile and can be used for anything from individual servings to dessert plates.

[Care Instructions]
This ceramic has absorbency, so its texture will change with the moisture and oil from food. Since it is prone to staining, it is recommended to avoid dark-colored dishes until the entire surface has absorbed oil. The more you use it, the more character it will develop, so we hope you enjoy these changes. If you are concerned, try soaking it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will help prevent staining and odors to some extent, and it will slowly mature.
