Mr. Funakushi's works, which have a striking sense of color and shape, go well with food, so there are many fans of professional chefs, and they are used in restaurants all over the country.
26 cm black relief plate.
Mr. Funakushi has modernized an authentic relief plate reminiscent of the design of old French plates. The matte black has a texture similar to pewter-like metalware, and makes colored dishes and white dishes stand out. Even though it's black, it's very expressive. When exposed to strong light such as a spotlight or sunlight, the exposed iron sparkles and reflects beautifully. It's not too conspicuous or too retracted, and it frames the food well. Because it is deep, it is safe for juicy dishes.
