White Porcelain Noodle Bowl

Sale price₩79,000 KRW

Tomoko Sakai is an artist who primarily creates smooth and soft white works using only porcelain clay, but also ambitiously works on pieces that utilize the layered texture of clay with mud slip decoration. Originally, Tomoko created earthenware using outdoor firing, but after encountering Joseon white porcelain during her training, she has been dedicated to studying and refining her white porcelain technique ever since.

Although it is a very simple white porcelain vessel, it is a work that condenses Tomoko's excellent sense of balance.

Noodle bowls can be hard to find good ones, can't they?

This size can be used as a noodle bowl, of course, but also as a donburi (rice bowl). The foot, which is not too high, cinches the beautifully curved body, and your fingers gently catch on it when you pick it up.

Diameter: approx. 18.5 cm / Height: approx. 9 cm
As this is an artist's work, there may be individual differences in glaze, color, and size.
