"Tokiko Kurokawa Exhibition" August 5th (Sat) - August 8th (Tue) at Nishiogi store!

From August 5th (Sat) to August 8th (Tue), an exhibition by glass artist Tokiko Kurokawa will be held at FOOD FOR THOUGHT Nishi-Ogikubo store.

The first day, August 5th (Sat), will be by appointment only.
Tickets will go on sale on July 22nd (Sat) at 22:00 on our dedicated ticket reservation website (https://foodforthoughtshop.net/). (*330 yen including tax)

August marks the peak of summer.
It is the season when glass vessels shine the brightest.

During this time, we will hold our long-awaited first solo exhibition by Tokiko Kurokawa!

What one feels from Kurokawa's works is, without a doubt, the power of color. Beyond simply being colored glass, it's the exquisite combination of color selection and the color of the rim that instantly brightens the viewer's mood.

And despite being colorful, everything blends naturally no matter how you combine them. There's also the joy of thinking about color combinations yourself.

This time, the Nishi-Ogikubo store will open for the first time in a while.
On the first day, Ms. Kurokawa is scheduled to be at the store.
The Nishi-Ogikubo store is spacious, allowing you to browse at your leisure. Please enjoy choosing your pieces while chatting with Ms. Kurokawa.

*The day before, August 4th (Fri), we will also hold a special event at FOOD FOR THOUGHT LAB where you can enjoy dishes by Yuko Watanabe served in Ms. Kurokawa's vessels! Please check the post titled "Summer Cooking Event to Enjoy Colors" for more details.
