Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture.
2014 After completing his studies at the Tochigi Prefectural Ceramics Technology Center, he apprenticed under Minoru Suzuki.
2016 Apprenticed under Akio Nuka
2017 Established his own kiln in Mashiko-machi, Tochigi Prefecture

His works are created through repeated experimentation with combinations of glazes and clays.

The secret to their popularity lies in the beautiful color gradation of the flowing glazes and their unique matte texture. Mr. Kubota says, "I value the balance and comfort in the hand."
