Mr. Kameda's white porcelain is fired in a wood-fired kiln. “I would like to create white porcelain vessels that are generous, plump, hard to break, and that can be used every day. I wanted to express the depth of white by firing in a wood-fired kiln, because of the way the ash hangs in the wood-fired kiln and the difference in expression in front of and behind the fire. ” and talked about the white porcelain series.
Mr. Kameda's beautiful plum jars have a modern elegance that matches both Japanese and Western settings. The generous white porcelain with ash on the shoulders seems to make even the air of the room rounder.
