22 Stacking Coffee Cup & Saucer (gold rim)
*Black spots and blemishes caused by iron deposits less than 1mm in size may be visible. This is an intentional artistic choice by the creator, as part of the vessel's character.
Cup and saucer sets often take up a lot of space in the cupboard. This piece is stackable and can be stored neatly! It's also beautiful to look at, with a stark presence.
The delicate, sparkling gold line adds an accent.

Tetsuhiro Iwata - Brief Biography
Born in Tottori Prefecture in 1981. Studied architecture at Kyoto Seika University, then apprenticed under ceramic artist Kan Ito. Became independent in 2019. As he himself says, he is drawn to "products" like industrial goods; his works may appear austere from a distance, but when held, one is moved by their precise balance and the traces of handcraftsmanship. The fusion of structural, concise proportions and organic handwork is reminiscent of the modernity of brutalist architecture. He is an artist that Food For Thought is paying close attention to.
