Ojiro Kakumono Shop is very popular for its precision craftsmanship and gentle touch.
This is a very valuable FOOD FOR THOUGHT bespoke model specially ordered by director Yuko Watanabe. Of course, it is only available at our shop, and it is a work that takes time and effort because only a small amount can be produced throughout the year. Mr. and Mrs. Ojiro make everything by themselves from scratch, from making higo to bending, from local Oita white bamboo. That's why it's really beautiful and I'm very happy to have it in my hand.
We live in a world like this. The inside has a two-tiered structure that is easy to use. Since it is made of bamboo, it is naturally light and easy to carry. The handle is delicate yet comfortable to hold, and the mechanical balance is perfect when lifted. I think it's an ideal basket that has no flaws and yet has a calm appearance.

Ojiro Kakumonoten Biography:
In 2008, he became independent after studying under Yuizen Kantake.
Since then, the couple has been producing in Oita.
