While it pairs beautifully with a perfectly round scoop of ice cream, it is equally well suited to vanilla ice cream delicately spread in thin layers with a spoon. This piece invites you to enjoy the beautiful interplay between Otani’s white ceramics and colorful ice cream.

Tetsuya Otani, Ceramic Artist Profile
- Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, in 1971
- Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto Institute of Technology in 1995
- Worked at the Shiga Ceramics Research Institute from 1996
- Established Otani Pottery in 2000
