Nakazono's work, popular for its vibrant use of color. Having encountered pottery as an extension of art, he began using colors much like paint, and was drawn to the different expressions that emerged each time.

Each free cup also has a unique expression.

The rim is thin, making for a pleasant feel on the lips.
This particular piece beautifully showcases the flowing glaze, a signature characteristic of Nakazono's work.
It's perfect not only as a sake cup but also for sencha.
