FOOD FOR THOUGHT will be hosting the third solo exhibition, "What Naotsugu Yoshida Wants to Create Now," for potter Naotsugu Yoshida, who continues to create ceramics at the foot of Mt. Fuji, from Saturday, December 3rd to Tuesday, December 6th, 2022.

 

For this exhibition, as the title suggests, we asked Naotsugu Yoshida to create only "what he wants to create now" without any specific requests from FFT. His signature beautiful white porcelain works, due to their simplicity, vividly reflect his mentality and thoughts during creation.

Yoshida-san throws the wheel smoothly, as if breathing. Although the surfaces always appear flat, a closer look reveals many hidden messages. While cryptically profound and for connoisseurs, the usability is superb. This is why Yoshida's works captivate so many fans.

The year cannot end without seeing Naotsugu Yoshida's summary of 2022!

Many one-of-a-kind pieces that could become statement pieces for your interior, usually unseen, will also be on display. Of course, the basic lineup that fans wishing to add to their collection have been waiting for will also be created.
