FOOD FOR THOUGHT will hold the special exhibition "Shichigosan Exhibition" at the Uehara store from July 8th (Sat) to July 11th (Tue).

This is the 3rd installment of the "Shichigosan Exhibition."
Do you all know the meaning behind this title?

For those who don't, I'll explain it once more:

The most frequently asked question from our customers is:
"What is the most versatile plate size?"

Here is FFT's answer to that question:

・For main dishes or larger individual plates = 7 sun (approx. 21cm)
・The absolute basic individual plate = 5 sun (approx. 15cm)
・Always useful, no matter how many you have (small plates) = 3 sun (approx. 9cm)

Shichigosan refers not to ages, but to sizes. This "Shichigosan Exhibition" is a special exhibition that gathers these three basic and essential plate sizes.

This exhibition is sure to provide great tips for those looking to start collecting tableware. This time, works of pottery and woodworking will be available. If you're unsure about choosing tableware, please feel free to ask our staff.

This time, too, the artwork is by Sumire Akasaka, one of our staff members. Following the designs of the first and second exhibitions, the design clearly conveys the intent of the exhibition at a glance. The refreshing color scheme evokes the freshness of early July, when the exhibition is held.
