From September 13th (Friday) to 16th (Monday), FOOD FOR THOUGHT Uehara will host its third "Atsushi Funakushi × Yuichi Takemata Exhibition".

Atsushi Funakushi and Yuichi Takemata are rare artists who create works that combine both design and usability.

The two artists, who are seriously committed to their craft, produce a variety of works imbued with their unique aesthetic. Their works beautifully harmonize and elegantly enhance the dining table. Please come and see the synergistic effect of their exquisite craftsmanship!

Ceramic artist Atsushi Funakushi will present his signature white and black rimmed plates, as well as silver-glazed items, focusing on popular standard pieces that everyone anticipates. His works, which appear simple and stripped-down at first glance, yet shine with a unique sculptural beauty in the foot and rim on the underside, instantly elevate your everyday dining table to the atmosphere of a restaurant or bistro. Don't miss the imposing 30cm oval plates!

Metal artist Yuichi Takemata will showcase his standard cutlery and plates, along with chopstick rests, wine coolers, copper pots, and other items. Also, for the first time at FFT, he will present lampshades and other items that add color to living spaces! In addition, the "FFT Special Order Ladle," which sells out every time it's released, will be available in-store. This special piece cannot be purchased anywhere else!

These standard items from the two artists have reached the realm of "masterpieces," bringing richness to everyone's dining table.
