We are pleased to announce that the "Cooling Vessels" Exhibition will be held at FOOD FOR THOUGHT Uehara from Saturday, August 1 to Tuesday, August 4!

In the Edo period, people had many ways of escaping the heat, such as sprinkling water on the ground, using wind chimes, bamboo blinds, folding fans, and enjoying ghost stories. Rather than simply "enduring the heat" without air conditioning, they cultivated a culture of using their five senses to create a cool atmosphere and enjoying it with style.

Following the tradition of Japanese summer living, which cherishes the changing seasons and incorporates the blessings of nature into daily life, this exhibition—now in its second year—will introduce vessels that bring coolness to both the eyes and the heart under the theme of "Summer Coolness."

Transparent glass, vessels in refreshing colors, and tableware that enhances seasonal summer vegetables, cold desserts, and chilled drinks.
We offer suggestions for stylishly enjoying the dining table in this hot season with a visually cooling presentation.

This is a season when there are more opportunities to gather around the table with loved ones for summer vacation and Obon.
We have prepared a rich lineup that will complement both everyday meals and special occasions.

Enjoy the season from the dining table, especially on hot days.
