Shintaro Enami, a ceramist who is an artist to watch at FFT. He is an artist who has gained attention, having gained various experiences for five years as the top apprentice of Tetsuya and Momoko Otani, and having just become independent from "Otani Seitojo" in April of this year. Our long-cherished wish came true, and he participated in this exhibition for the first time!

Enami's works feature characteristic streamlined *shinogi*. All of them are carved by hand, and their elegant and elaborate appearance is breathtaking. And his skill with the potter's wheel is truly remarkable.

The works are light and fit comfortably in the hand, and their weight balance is excellent. While the forms are refined, the works, imbued with the soft expressions of curves, seem to represent the aroma of coffee and will lead your coffee break to be even richer.

Mouth diameter: Approximately 7cm / Height: Approximately 8cm / Capacity: 250ml (when full)

As these are artisanal works, there may be individual differences in glaze, color, and size.

[Care Instructions]
Because this pottery is absorbent, its texture will change with the moisture and oil from food. Since it is prone to staining, it is recommended to avoid dark-colored dishes until the entire surface has absorbed oil. The more you use it, the more character it develops, so we hope you enjoy this change. If you are concerned, try soaking it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will prevent staining and odors to some extent, and it will gradually mature.
