He is a highly anticipated artist who has just become independent from "Otani Seitojo" after 5 years of gaining various experiences as the top apprentice of Tetsuya and Momoko Otani.

The beauty of stacking S, M, and L sizes is reminiscent of his mentors, Tetsuya and Momoko Otani.

The characteristic of the "Dorabachi" bowl is its large, flat serving area due to the absence of a rim. It's perfect for serving about three dishes or traditional Japanese sweets, as well as namul or sushi. You can also use it like a tray to arrange a Chinese tea set. It's an incredibly versatile item, almost to the point where you can think of endless ways to use it.

The regularly carved waves (shinogi) are iconic yet simple. Every time you serve food, your eyes will be drawn to its contours. For an item you use for a long time, it's wonderful to have reasons to "love" it, not just for its functionality.

Because this ceramic ware is absorbent, its appearance will change with the moisture and oils from food. It is prone to staining, so it is recommended to avoid serving dark-colored dishes until the entire surface has absorbed oil. As it becomes more seasoned with use, we hope you will enjoy its evolving character. If you are concerned, please soak it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will prevent staining and odors to some extent, allowing it to gradually "grow" into its character.

2018 Completed the small pottery wheel course at Shigaraki Ceramic Research Institute
