MODERN CLASSIC Cafe au Lait Bowl S Sunflower

促銷價$943.00 TWD

The "MODERN CLASSIC" series is made entirely by hand by artisans, so there may be slight black spots from iron powder, air bubbles, or traces of glaze flow. Just as brocante from the 1900s aimed to do, we consider the traces of handcraft to be precious, so please purchase with this understanding. Any items with cracks, chips, or distortions that would affect safe use are all rejected during inspection.

New colors are now available for FFT's popular long-selling MODERN CLASSIC series cafe au lait bowls!

"Himawari (Sunflower)" is an energetic color that simply brightens your mood. However, it's not 100% saturated; rather, it's about 85% saturated, in line with traditional Japanese colors. This is designed to prevent it from standing out too much on the table.

In the "psychology of color" using a color wheel, "Sunflower" represents "happiness," "satisfaction," and "enthusiasm."

Yellow tableware simply makes mealtime more enjoyable. It serves as a powerful backdrop for hearty soups, colorful fruits, spicy dishes, and more, matching the energy of the ingredients.

When yellow catches your eye during a meal, it also has the effect of increasing appetite. Even on a sluggish morning, drinking cafe au lait from this "Sunflower" can give you a little push, that's the power it holds.

If you want to feel energized by the power of tableware, we definitely recommend "Sunflower"!

If your existing tableware is mostly simple or has few colors, please give this a try. The yellow will act as an accent color and tie your collection together beautifully. As you can see from the photo showing all the cafe au lait bowl colors stacked, the presence or absence of yellow makes a huge difference in the "liveliness."

It also pairs well with any cutlery, from metal to wood.

"Sunflower" is a color that will be your ally. It's also recommended as a gift.

⚠️ The color is deliberately fired with uneven glaze application. The glaze is intentionally not uniform to preserve the traces of human handwork. Please be aware of this in advance if you are looking for perfectly uniform items.

The MODERN CLASSIC cafe au lait bowls are elegantly thin and have such a beautiful form that I believe this is why they have been so popular.

It started with the idea, "Wouldn't more people become fans if there were colors?" And we were confident that adding color to this shape would make it sophisticated, not clunky.

Since FFT has a strong image of white and monochrome, I think colorful tableware will appear very fresh. Precisely because we have focused on white, our approach and essence in color tones are unique to FFT.

The colors are the following four.
Each color name is also wonderful. We've given both Japanese and Western names. Please enjoy the names according to the image of your dishes and table.

Himawari (Sunflower)
This vibrant yellow might help you have a bright and energetic day if you use it in the morning.

Hai (Ash)
This calming gray enhances the color of any food and complements vibrant hues like fruit.

Hisoku (Secret)
This color has been used in Japanese porcelain for a long time, but it also matches well with antique European tableware.

Benifuji (Wisteria)
The very gentle color, between light crimson and wisteria, captivates a maiden's heart.

Like the white color, all colors are made from high-grade Japanese porcelain clay, and each step—forming, trimming, glazing, and firing—is handcrafted by Japanese artisans.

All colors are available in both S and M sizes.
Enjoy mixing and matching colors, or enjoy your favorite color in different sizes.
And above all, these bright and vibrant colors are highly recommended as gifts!
