FFT is proud to feature Shintaro Enami, a ceramic artist. He is a notable artist who, after five years of diverse experience as the top apprentice to Tetsuya and Momoko Otani, has become independent from "Otani Seito-jo."

Enami's works feature distinctive wave patterns (shinogi), all hand-carved. Their elegant and intricate appearance is truly impressive.

This 6-sun bowl was very popular at our physical store. It's versatile for salads, soups, or even as a serving bowl for hot pots, thanks to its ideal size and depth.

As these are artisan pieces, there will be individual differences in glaze, color, and size.

This pottery is absorbent, so its appearance will change with moisture and oil from food. It is prone to staining, so we recommend avoiding intensely colored dishes until the entire piece has absorbed some oil. The more you use it, the more character it develops, so we hope you enjoy these changes. If you are concerned, try soaking it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will help prevent staining and odors to some extent, allowing it to slowly mature.
