Yuko Miura Biography

Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1982.
Began glassblowing at Glass Studio Aaty while attending Kyoto University of Art and Design.
After graduation, studied the fundamentals of glass at Toyama Institute of Glass Art, Modeling Department.
Worked for five years as a glass studio staff member at Iwata City New Formative Art Creation Center (Shizuoka Prefecture).
2014: Launched the glassblowing studio Bamboo Glass.
Currently active mainly through craft fairs and exhibitions.
