Enami-san Lampshade. It is said to be made using a special translucent Shigaraki clay.

When lit, a soft light spreads, and the three-dimensional lines of the shade emerge.

When not lit, it has an appearance that allows you to enjoy the unique texture of pottery.

[About Handling]
This pottery is absorbent, so its texture will change with the moisture and oil from food. It is prone to staining, so it is recommended to avoid dark-colored dishes until the oil has fully permeated the entire piece. The more you use it, the more character it will develop, so we hope you enjoy these changes. If you are concerned, try soaking it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will help prevent staining and odors to some extent, and it will gradually develop.
