Akita's works have a strong consistency in their presence.

They are delicate, intricate, and even ephemeral, with a romantic quality that evokes a longing for the past. Rather than merely imitating old Karatsu ware, the designs intertwine with exceptional taste, creating a sense of effortless design. The strength of presence felt when viewing a single piece is, in fact, consistent throughout all of the works when viewed as a whole, with no contradictions whatsoever.
