Mr. Tomii uses various techniques such as turning, moulding, and lacquer to create a unique world with precision, warmth, and a strong sense of purpose. By using it over time, the material, the creator, and the user become like a single, inseparable substance.” I'm looking forward to seeing you.

This bowl with handles is the featured product of this arrival. Power and finish are the best. The handle was not added later, but carved from a large chestnut tree with a diameter of about 50cm. The more you look at the precise technology, the more you will fall in love. The beauty of the conduit, which is slightly emphasized by the lye finish, is also a sight to behold. Engraved on the back.

Regarding how to use this bowl, Mr. Tomii himself says, "There are various ways to use this bowl, such as serving salad or chunks of meat. We are a family of five, so we often use this bowl separately. Sometimes when we drink alone, we use this bowl. There are also times when I serve various ate." It goes well with the set of Chinese tea.

Please feel free to use and nurture it with your own creativity.

Long side: Approx. 50.3cm (including handle) / Short side: 35.5cm/ Height: Approx. 5cm
