is here.

The "Paperwhite" scalloped rim soup plate. We have always wanted to bring this piece to life.

Because, to say the least, a soup plate is one of the most versatile pieces of dinnerware.

It's perfect for soup, of course. While it may look shallow at first glance, its capacity of approximately 200ml is about two extra sips more than the typical serving of Japanese soup. It's truly a perfect size.

For dishes like pot-au-feu, a soup plate is actually the ideal choice for serving. First, arrange the ingredients, then pour in the appropriate amount of soup. It will look like something from a restaurant.

A soup plate is also the best for curry. Its shallow, flat bottom makes it an ally for curry rice, which can be difficult to arrange beautifully.

As with other "Paperwhite" pieces, we have been meticulous about usability. It stacks beautifully, is durable and hard to break, and is dishwasher safe.

This is our confident creation, combining elegance with practicality.
It will surely be a staple at your dinner table every day.

Enjoying "blank spaces" in everyday life

"Dinnerware that grows with you"

With their modest and delicate designs combined with the "Paperwhite" glaze, these "Paperwhite" pieces possess a gentle ambiance, as if they have been cherished and passed down through generations.

FFT has modernized the mood of French faience from the early 1900s to be easy to use in contemporary homes.

Reliable Japanese porcelain. "Dinnerware that grows with you," using an original glaze that develops character with use, yet is microwave and dishwasher safe.

With a good thickness and roundness, they feel good in the hand, making them ideal for everyday use.

The "Paperwhite" series is not about pursuing uniformity or rationality, but rather about pieces that allow you to enjoy "blank spaces" in your daily life.

Quiet moments alone, time spent with loved ones.
Isn't "blank space" what we need most right now?

The white color we aimed for was closer to a soft, bulky, warm, and human "paper white" than a highly bright "perfect white," hence the name "Paperwhite" for this series.

"Soft-boiled eggs with yogurt sauce and marinated red onions"

Even your usual boiled eggs can become a wonderful dish when served on a scalloped rim plate. Mix the runny yolk with the sauce. The cooking time is crucial for this simple dish.

1. Place eggs straight from the refrigerator into boiling water and boil for 7 minutes and 40 seconds. POINTBoiling time is crucial!

2. Mix French mustard and yogurt in a 1:2 ratio, then season with salt to create the sauce.

3. Arrange the marinated red onions, sauce, and boiled eggs on the "Scalloped Rim Plate M size". Sprinkle with cumin powder for an accent, and it's complete.

Cut red onions to your desired size and place in a pot. Cover with red wine vinegar, a small amount of water, and raw sugar, then simmer until soft. Let cool and refrigerate. The color will become even more beautiful after some time.

When creating "Paperwhite", we valued the spirit of "Onkochishin" (developing new ideas from past experiences). Specifically, we sought to pursue the details found in French brocante, which we love, while also making them suitable for modern Japanese homes.

We cherish the "inaccuracies" inherent in handmade items, which are often eliminated today, such as black spots caused by iron content in the clay, and bubbles or unevenness created by the random application of glaze by hand.

While maximizing these traces of craftsmanship, we used easy-to-handle porcelain for the base material, making it suitable for use in restaurants. All materials and manufacturing are, of course, Japanese. Each piece is handmade by artisans.

The “MODERN CLASSIC” series is also a popular gift choice.
