【Takahashi Sadao Profile】
Born in Tokyo in 1958. Graduated from Tama Art University in 1980, majoring in Product Design within the Craft Design Course of the Department of Design, Faculty of Art, and minoring in Three-Dimensional Design. After serving as a research assistant in the Three-Dimensional Design Department at the same university, he honed his glassmaking skills as an assistant at the Glashaus am Wasserturm studio (Reichenbach, Germany) from 1982 to 1984. Opened his own studio in Sagamihara in 1985. Served as a professor at Tama Art University until the end of March 2022.
