“Hanakage” is Mr. Sakai’s signature popular series. As the name suggests, these romantic pieces cast flower-like shadows on the table under a strong light source. Each piece features a soft color gradient at the base, and the way the colors intertwine with the shadows is also beautiful.
For glassware, the edges are made extremely thin for a pleasant feel on the lips, while plates, bowls, and vases feature banded rims. Each piece is thoughtfully designed for both usability and beauty.
