MODERN CLASSIC Cafe au Lait Bowl M Ash

Sale price₩50,000 KRW

Since all processes for the "MODERN CLASSIC" series are performed by hand by artisans, there may be slight black spots from iron powder, air bubbles, or traces of glaze flow. Just as brocantes from the 1900s, which we aimed to replicate, often have such characteristics, we consider these handcrafted marks to be valuable. We ask for your understanding before purchasing. All items with cracks, chips, or distortions that would cause issues with safe use are removed during inspection.

New colors are now available for the popular, long-selling MODERN CLASSIC series cafe au lait bowls from FFT!

This is the most popular color in stores, "Ash". Needless to say, it's a color that's easy for many people to use. It's not a cold neutral gray, but rather has a slightly warm tone, making it exceptionally compatible with food.

In the "psychology of color" using a color wheel, "Ash" represents "universality," "balance," and "intelligence."

If you own many white dishes, incorporating "Ash" can bring a chic and mature look to your table. Mixing gray among black dishes is also stylish. It's perfect for cafe au lait and coffee, and since the color isn't too dark, tea also looks delicious with its liquid color standing out.

"Ash" allows you to create a chic and coordinated look while harmonizing with your existing tableware.

Serving food in an "Ash" dish also has the effect of making whites appear whiter and colored items appear more vibrant. It suits both Japanese and Western cuisine. Its beauty when stacked and resistance to color transfer make it ideal for use in restaurants.

This is a color we highly recommend to customers who have been using our "MODERN CLASSIC" series. Combining them expands the monochrome layers, adding a definite breadth to your table styling. It even goes well with desserts.

For those seeking stylishness on their table and those who are particular about monochrome, "Ash" is the best choice.

⚠️The glaze is intentionally applied unevenly and fired. We intentionally do not make the glaze uniform to preserve the marks of human handiwork. Please be aware of this if you are looking for perfectly uniform items.

I believe the MODERN CLASSIC cafe au lait bowls, with their sleek thinness and impeccable form, have been so popular because of these qualities.

It started with the idea, "If there were colors, wouldn't we gain more fans?" And we were convinced that if colors were added to this shape, it wouldn't look unsophisticated, but rather refined.

Since FFT has a strong image of white and monotone, colorful dishes will likely appear very fresh. Precisely because we have focused on white, our approach to color tones incorporates FFT's unique ideas and essence.

There are four colors as listed below.
