Rice bowl, flat, ash glaze

Kobayashi-san's rice bowls are highly regarded. Their balance, thinness, and proportions are all excellent.

This (flat) type is small with a wide foot, a comfortable size to hold.
It can also be used as a small bowl for serving food.

*As Kasama clay, which is rich in iron, is used, black spots and specks may be visible. These are intentionally left by the artist as part of the bowl's unique character.
*Avoid direct flames, ovens, and dishwashers.
*As the vessel is used, tea stains may gradually seep into the crazing, and oils may give it a moist feel. We hope you will enjoy these changes as part of its aging process.
