Handled Bowl (L) Spaghetti

Sale price$54.00 SGD

Special pieces that Mr. Iwata created just for the "Children's Tableware Exhibition."

The name of the face-shaped bowl is "Ear Bowl," which can be filled up to the ears!

Children would surely be delighted if you made a face with their rice. Mr. Iwata's daughter also reportedly enjoyed her meals with the "Ear Bowl" by making faces with various ingredients.

What do you think it looks like in children's imaginations? We hope that parents can also enjoy making faces with spaghetti, curry rice, fruits, or cherry tomatoes, and that children will eat heartily.

This piece is also recommended as a gift.

Tetsuhiro Iwata
Born in Tottori Prefecture in 1981. Studied architecture at Kyoto Seika University, then apprenticed under ceramist Kan Ito. Became independent in 2019. As he himself says he is drawn to "products" like industrial goods, his pieces may appear blunt from a distance, but when held, one is moved by their precise balance and traces of handwork. The fusion of constructive, concise proportions and organic handwork evokes the modernity of brutalist architecture. He is an artist that Food For Thought is paying close attention to.
