Daigo Kikuchi is an artist whose delicate, static works are captivating, enveloping the air in a thin, light layer.

The subtle pink glass adds a faint warmth to liquids when in use, creating a soft atmosphere. When displayed, the color outlines the edges, emphasizing the silhouette and highlighting the uniform thickness of the glass and the exquisite form.

This double-sided plate can be used for two purposes by flipping it over: one side is a gong bowl, while the other is a pedestal dish.

As these are handmade works, individual pieces may vary by ±0.5–1.5 cm.

After graduating from the Department of Glass Art at the Toyama Glass Art Institute in 2018, worked at the Peter Ivy Studio Fluidity Research Institute. Later worked at the Toyama Glass Studio.Currently independent in Toyama.
