FFT proudly presents ceramic artist Shintaro Enami.

He gained 5 years of diverse experience as the lead apprentice to Tetsuya and Momoko Otani before becoming independent.
All the characteristic streaked ridgelines on Mr. Enami's works arehand-carved. The soft expressions created by the curves gently adorn your table.

His works, born from his own experience raising children, reflect what Mr. Enami felt and learned during his life with his children. The trapezoidal cup is suitable for baby food and is a stable cup designed for easy use by small children themselves.

Since it is trapezoidal, liquids such as soup and miso soup are less likely to spill, so you can use it with peace of mind. Of course, it's also cute for snacks.

As these are artisanal pieces, there may be individual differences in glaze, color, and size.

【Handling Instructions】
This pottery is absorbent, so its texture will change with the moisture and oil from food. It is prone to staining, so it is recommended to avoid strongly colored dishes until the entire piece has absorbed oil. The more you use it, the more character it develops, so we hope you enjoy these changes. If you are concerned, try soaking it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will somewhat prevent staining and odors, allowing it to subtly mature.
