53 Bread knife

Although bread knives are tools we use every day, there aren't many choices available in Japan, are there?

Responding to customers' requests for "a wonderful bread knife!", Mr. Takemata has introduced a new piece to the world, aiming to make a significant impact in the bread knife industry.

Features (as told by the artist):

• Sharper than many commercially available knives.

• The blade is slightly curved to appear elegant.

• Has a mirror finish to reduce resistance when cutting (a matte finish would make it harder to cut due to surface resistance).

• Designed to complement organic-shaped cutting boards.

• The handle is secured with brass rivets. Finished with an antique patina for a classical feel.

The result is a masterpiece that blends seamlessly with your existing tableware while offering exceptional sharpness.

With more time spent at home, an increasing number of people are baking bread and pastries. In these persistent stagnant times, it is a joy for us to be able to introduce such creations that can bring a little ray of sunshine into daily life.

"Cut bread daily for yourself, for your loved ones."
This bread knife brings joy to such simple moments. We invite you to consider adding it to your collection.
