Kotan glaze bowl

Tamaki Ito's works are characterized by beautiful forms that resemble old pottery and metalware.
The Kotanyu glaze, which has a delicate expression in its astringent and rough appearance, is unique.

Serve juicy dishes in small amounts, or use the empty space as a noodle bowl. It is a bowl with a deep bosom.

There are individual differences in the glaze, color, and size because it is an artist's work.

Ito Kan
Born in 1971. After graduating from Osaka University of Arts, studied under Hikaru Yamada (founder of Sodeisha) in Kyoto. After competing with young artists from around the world at the Shigaraki Pottery Forest, he returned to his hometown of Akizuki and made pottery with his father, Mr. Nitto Tachibana. Opened kiln in Misaki, Miura City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 2006. Moved to Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture in 2012.
