The "MODERN CLASSIC" series is all hand-made by craftsmen, so there may be slight black spots of iron powder, spots of air bubbles, traces of glaze flow, etc. Just like the 1900s Brocanto that we aimed for, we value the traces of handiwork, so please understand before purchasing. All items that have problems with safe use such as cracks, chips, or distortion are inspected and repelled.

Our director, Yuko Watanabe, often uses Brocante cafe au lait bowls at her dining table. Her favorite is plain white, thin, and elegant with a narrow waist. However, due to its popularity in recent years, there is a shortage of good quality ones even in Japan.

That's why we created our original "cafe au lait bowl". The S size here has a capacity of 230 ml when full, which gives the impression that it is slightly smaller than the M size in the same series. It's about the same size as a so-called coffee cup, so it's perfect for everyday use. Other yogurts, soup cups, fruits, desserts and matcha. It's light and easy to hold and easy to handle, so it's perfect for children!

Many people replace all the mugs at home with cafe au lait bowls because they are easy to stack and store, and they look beautiful when stacked.

High quality Japanese porcelain. It is a confident product created through trial and error with reliable craftsmen. Based on the French brocante of the early to mid-1900s, it has been modernized with a strong constriction, a delicate hill, and a thinness that attacks the last minute if it goes any further. It has a soft, smooth and round feel, but the details are tense. The slightly greyish white glaze gives a gentle impression, and we also took into consideration the ease of use at home. There is a gray "FOOD FOR THOUGHT" logo on the bottom.

An elegant cafe au lait bowl that is thin and plain white and hard to find. Brocanto with little feeling of use is expensive and not available in large numbers. I would like you to buy this as a standard product, so I will continue to make it.
