Shintaro Enami, a ceramist and artist, is one of FFT's featured artists. He spent five years gaining various experiences as the top apprentice to Tetsuya and Momoko Otani before becoming independent from Otani Pottery. He is an FFT featured artist.

Enami's works feature characteristic fluted lines. All are hand-carved, and their elegant and delicate appearance is breathtaking. His pottery wheel technique is also truly remarkable.

The pieces are lightweight, comfortable to hold, and have excellent weight balance. While their forms are refined, their soft curved expressions seem to embody the aroma of coffee, enriching your coffee break. The capacity is also recommended for those who want to drink a lot of coffee or love cafe au lait.

[Care Instructions]
Since this pottery is absorbent, its texture will change with the moisture and oil from food. As it is prone to staining, it is recommended to avoid dark-colored dishes until the entire piece has absorbed some oil. The more it is used, the more character it develops, so we hope you enjoy this transformation. If you are concerned, try soaking it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will help prevent staining and odors to some extent, and allow it to gradually mature.
