The overall characteristic of Naoko Miura's works, and her inimitable individuality, lies in the gap between their cuteness and the edge of their excellent design.

This is a lovely pitcher. It features a soft white glaze with fine crazing.
It can be used as a pitcher, of course, but also as a gongdaobei for Chinese tea, or for milk or sauce.
It would also be lovely to use it as a vase.

Naoko Miura Brief Biography
1984 Born in Obihiro City, Hokkaido
2007 Enrolled in Kuwasawa Design School, studied visual design
Worked as an assistant at a design office during the day as she was on the evening course
2009 Began studying pottery at a pottery class in Setagaya
Also helped with glaze making and kiln loading
2011 Enrolled in Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center
2013 Began her creative activities in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture
