Obi Glass Smoke

Yuko Miura's works have been particularly popular and difficult to obtain in recent years.
The subtle smoky color gives the whole piece a soft impression. This glass has a plump, balloon-like shape. The band wrapped around the constriction fits perfectly between your fingers when holding the cup, providing a very stable grip.

Yuko Miura Brief Biography

Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1982.
Began glassblowing at Glass Studio Aaty while attending Kyoto University of Art and Design.
After graduation, studied basic glass knowledge at the Toyama Institute of Glass Art, Modeling Department.
Worked for five years as a glass studio staff member at the Iwata City New Formative Art Creation Hall (Shizuoka Prefecture).
2014: Started the glassblowing studio Bamboo Glass.
Currently active mainly in craft fairs and exhibitions.
