Paperwhite coffee cup

It's not as robust as a mug, but not too delicate either. The same goes for the volume.Its not-too-large size is perfect for enjoying a moderate amount of beverage while it's still warm.We also paid special attention to the pleasant thinness of the rim.

It's an ideal shape, suitable for your morning drink, for pairing with sweets during snack time, or even for serving to guests.

We also gave it a soft white texture. After many prototypes, we finally completed this "Paperwhite" "coffee cup."

The "Paperwhite" series is designed to offer a moment of "space" in everyday life, rather than pursuing uniformity or rationality, and each piece has its own individuality.

Whether it's a quiet moment alone or time spent with loved ones, we believe that "space" is what we need most right now.

We named this series "Paperwhite" because the white color we aimed for was closer to the soft, bulky, warm, and humane "paper white" rather than a highly achromatic "perfect white." 

The discreet white "FOOD FOR THOUGHT" logo is on the bottom.

*The Paperwhite series is a product that intentionally features slight individual differences unique to ceramics. These include the appearance of black iron spots, or spots smaller than 1mm, and color variations from blue to yellow due to firing temperature. We also use a glaze that develops crazing over time to create an aged look.

Although some pieces may have glaze flow or unevenness, these are all part of the design and do not affect practicality in any way. Please note that since these products are handmade and not machine-produced, no two items are exactly alike.

 

*The handle is attached by hand by artisans, so there may be slight differences in height of a few millimeters.There may also be a slight tilt (see photo below).

*It can be handled like regular porcelain products. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Not suitable for oven or direct flame.

 

*There may be slight variations in shape due to the manufacturing process, and slight color differences due to glazing and firing. Please enjoy these characteristics as part of handmade pottery.
