New colors are now available for the café au lait bowl from FFT's popular long-selling MODERN CLASSIC series!

"Himawari / Sunflower" is a cheerful color that simply brightens your mood. However, it's not 100% saturated; rather, it has about 85% saturation, aligned with traditional Japanese colors. This prevents it from standing out too much on the table.

In "color psychology" using a color wheel, "Sunflower" represents "happiness," "satisfaction," and "enthusiasm."

Yellow tableware simply makes mealtime more enjoyable. It's a powerful receptacle that can stand up to high-calorie ingredients like hearty soups, colorful fruits, and spicy dishes.

Seeing yellow during a meal also stimulates appetite. Even on a slightly sluggish morning, drinking café au lait from this "Sunflower" bowl has the power to give you a little push.

If you want to feel energized by your tableware, "Sunflower" is definitely recommended!

I believe the MODERN CLASSIC café au lait bowl has been embraced by many people because of its sleek, thin form, which is as beautiful as it gets.

It started with the thought, "Wouldn't we gain more fans if there were colors?" We were confident that if this shape were given color, it would become refined, not unrefined.

Since FFT has a strong image of white and monotone, colorful tableware will likely appear very fresh. Precisely because we have committed to white, our colored pieces possess FFT's unique philosophy and essence regarding color tones.

There are four colors below.
Each color name is also wonderful. We've given both Japanese and Western names. Please enjoy the names according to the image of your dishes and table.

◆Himawari (Sunflower)
This vibrant yellow might help you have a bright and energetic day if you use it in the morning.

◆Hai (Ash)
This calm gray enhances the color of any food and can accommodate vibrant hues like fruits.

◆Hisoku (Secret)
This color has been used in Japanese porcelain for a long time, but it's also a hue that easily matches antique European tableware.

◆Benifuji (Wisteria)
The very gentle hue, somewhere between pale pink and wisteria, tickles a maiden's heart.

Like the white color, all colors are made using high-grade Japanese porcelain clay, and each step—shaping, trimming, glazing, and firing—is handcrafted by Japanese artisans.

All colors are available in both S and M sizes.
