09 Chopstick Rest, White Dove

Sale priceHK$132.00 HKD

For the "Children's Ceramic Exhibition," Ritsuko Imai sent us pieces fired in her Noborigama kiln this spring.

A Noborigama kiln uses firewood for firing, not gas or electricity. Depending on the temperature and how the flame hits it, the glaze can undergo unexpected changes, and ash can create a freckled effect. In realms beyond human control, the clay and glaze develop rich textures.

These pieces have a slightly special finish unique to Noborigama kilns. Once your children are a little older, please share with them at the dinner table the story of how these items are made with time and effort.

They also look lovely simply placed on a kitchen shelf.

Size: Approximately 7×2cm / Height: Approximately 4.5cm
Due to the nature of artist's works, there are individual differences in glaze, color, and size.
*After use, please wash off dirt promptly and dry thoroughly.
*Cannot be used in ovens, microwaves, or dishwashers.
*Returns and refunds are not accepted under any circumstances. Please understand this before purchasing.
