A common thread in Tetsuhiro Iwata's works is a strong sense of logical form. As a result, his designs are simple and streamlined, yet possess a unique individuality.

The server features a handle with a sharp, edgy design. It is precisely because of the strong and flexible core of the form that users can freely conceive of its purpose and create their own unique ways of using and coordinating it.

Tetsuhiro Iwata Brief Biography
Born in Tottori Prefecture in 1981.
Studied architecture at Kyoto Seika University, then apprenticed under ceramist Kan Ito.
Became independent in 2019.
As he himself says, he is drawn to "products" like industrial goods. While his works may appear unadorned from a distance, holding them reveals a delicate balance and the感動 (kando) of handmade craftsmanship. The fusion of constructive, concise proportions and organic handwork evokes the modernity of Brutalist architecture. He is an artist of note at Food For Thought.
