FOOD FOR THOUGHT will hold an exhibition "Shichi-go-san Exhibition" at the Uehara store from 9/10 (Sat.) to 9/13 (Tue.) featuring 11 popular artists.

This project, which was held for the first time in 2021, is very popular with customers! I think that there are many people who do not know the intention of this title, so I will explain it once again.

At this exhibition, many of you may have wondered why Shichigosan was chosen, but Shichi-Go-San is actually an important keyword for FFT.

The most frequently asked questions from customers.

"What is the most convenient size of the vessel?"

This special exhibition is FFT's answer to that question.↓

・For main dishes and large plates = 7 sun (about 21cm)
・The basics of individual plate = 5 sun (approximately 15cm)
・Convenient no matter how many you have (mamezara) = 3 sun (about 9cm)

Shichi-Go-San is a story of size, not a story of age.

This is an epoch-making exhibition where up-and-coming creators who are leading today will answer customers' questions with easy-to-use works of "7-inch, 5-inch, and 3-inch".

We would like to go back to the first step that manufacturing is communication, not a spot sale in the name of an exhibition, and create a meaningful and enjoyable time for customers, creators and us. Even if we say “7, 5, 3”, there are of course some craftsmen who make it exactly as it is, and there are also craftsmen who make their own interpretations with twists. I hope you can feel the wit of such a writer.

There are many creators who make works that can only be made at the "Shichigosan Exhibition", and the secret to its popularity is that you can come across rare works.

This year's artwork is also by our staff Sumire Akasaka. Illustrated explanation of this project that even children can understand! I like it very much.
