"I find beauty in the way man-made objects decay through natural processes, such as rusting containers," says Mr. Tazuruhama. His works are, quite literally, a treasure trove of rich matiere and colorful black. The more you look, the more hidden details emerge, captivating the viewer with their enduring strength.

Born in Tokyo in 1973. Graduated from Tama Art University, Graduate School of Painting. Developed an interest in pottery during his student years and pursued it through self-study. Currently creating works in Agui Town, Aichi Prefecture.
