Born in Tokyo in 1967. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, he trained at the “Katai Kobo” under the late Ryo Aoki. Even now, he built a kiln in Fujino, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture and continues to make pottery. The gentle contours of the work, and the gentle expression that makes full use of the mass and texture of the clay, seem to express the calm atmosphere of the artist itself. The "apple ash glaze" series, which has a beautiful gradation from pale cherry to cyan, is a very rare and popular product that is produced in small quantities. Pick it up when you find it.
