The owner fell in love with Seikoh Morioka's "western-style plates" at first sight and uses them daily at home, allowing them to evolve. Their size is perfect for Japanese tables. With a suitably wide well and raised rim, the uses are endless: a main dish + two sides, steak and french fries, stews like curry or beef stew, leafy salads that highlight their color, or one-plate meals for breakfast or lunch.

Although yakishime (unglazed pottery) often has a strong "Japanese" impression, these western-style plates surprisingly evoke the atmosphere of European brocante and pair perfectly with old silverware.

During his solo exhibition at the store, discerning customers quickly purchased them in bulk to take home. Since then, inquiries for these western-style plates from restaurants have been ceaseless. As we have a sufficient quantity this time, it's a rare opportunity for professionals to acquire them.
