Sugar Pot L (Green)

Sale price$60.00 USD

FFT proudly presents ceramic artist Shintaro Enami. As the top apprentice to Tetsuya and Momoko Otani, he gained five years of diverse experience and has just established his own studio, "Otani Seitojo," this April, making him an artist to watch. We are thrilled to have him participate in this exhibition for the first time, a long-held wish!

Enami-san's works feature distinctive flowing "shinogi" (faceting) patterns. Each one is hand-carved, and their elegant and intricate appearance is breathtaking. His mastery of the potter's wheel is simply exceptional.

The pieces are light, comfortable to hold, and perfectly balanced. While their forms are refined, the soft expressions conveyed by their curves seem to embody the aroma of coffee, sure to elevate your coffee breaks.

Diameter: approx. 10.5cm / Height: approx. 10.5cm (including lid)

As these are artisanal pieces, there may be individual differences in glaze, color, and size.

【Care Instructions】
This ceramic is absorbent, so its appearance will change with exposure to moisture and oils from food. As it is prone to staining, it is recommended to avoid dark-colored dishes until the entire piece has absorbed oil. The more you use it, the more character it develops, and we hope you enjoy this transformation. If you are concerned, try soaking it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will help prevent staining and odors to some extent, allowing it to gradually "grow" with use.
