12 Dora-bachi Bowl M (Mocha)

Shintaro Enami, an acclaimed artist and potter at FFT.

He is a highly anticipated artist who recently became independent from "Otani Seito" after accumulating five years of diverse experience as the top apprentice to Tetsuya and Momoko Otani.

The beauty of his S, M, and L sizes stacked together is reminiscent of his mentors, Tetsuya and Momoko Otani.

The Dora-bachi bowl is characterized by its rimless design, which provides a large and flat surface for plating. It's perfect for serving about three dishes, Japanese sweets, namul, or sushi. You can even use it like a tray to arrange a Chinese tea set. It's an incredibly versatile item, an earthenware piece whose uses are seemingly endless.

The regularly carved waves (shinogi) are simple yet iconic. Each time you serve food, your eyes will be drawn to its contours. For an item you'll use for a long time, it's wonderful to have reasons to "love" it, not just for its functionality.

【Care Instructions】
This pottery is absorbent, so its texture will change with the moisture and oils from food. Since it is prone to staining, it is recommended to avoid dark-colored dishes until the oil has fully settled into the entire piece. As it is used, it will develop more character, and we hope you enjoy this transformation. If you are concerned, try soaking it in water for about 10 minutes before use. This will help prevent staining and odors to some extent, and the pottery will gradually mature.
