“Hanakage” is Aki Sakoda’s signature popular series. True to its name, these romantic pieces cast flower-like shadows on the table under a strong light source. Each piece features a soft color gradient at the base, and the way the colors intertwine with the shadows is also beautiful.
For glassware, the edges are made extremely thin for a pleasant feel on the lips, while plates, bowls, and vases feature banded rims. Each piece is thoughtfully designed for both usability and beauty.
Perfect for aperitifs or hard liquor. Its delicate size also makes it ideal as a tabletop vase.
