14 Yakko Bowl

A new piece created and delivered for the Ryo no Utsuwa exhibition.

Its name is Yakko-bachi. Perhaps it was made for serving hiyayakko, chilled tofu? This cool, summery vessel lets you enjoy the beautiful scenery created by white against white.

Diameter: approx. 14 cm / Height: approx. 4 cm

As each piece is handmade by the artist, variations in glaze, color, and size may occur.

Tetsuya Otani, Ceramic Artist Profile

• Born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, in 1971
• Graduated from the Faculty of Engineering at Kyoto Institute of Technology in 1995
• Worked at the Shiga Ceramics Research Institute from 1996
• Established Otani Pottery in 2000

After use, please wash off any dirt promptly and allow the piece to dry thoroughly.
