31 Ko-Hiki Flat Bowl

Sale price$39.00 USD

Michikazu Sakai creates his works in a wood-fired kiln, where the intense flames and turbulent smoke flow make for a unique and serendipitous process. It's a challenging environment where the firing results vary greatly depending on how the kiln is packed and fired. However, Mr. Sakai's repeated trials and errors result in perfectly controlled firings, producing pieces characterized by their surprisingly crisp, high-quality finish.

Michikazu's works stand out for their sharp shapes and very modern aesthetic.
